Service Manager is the perfect software package to meet the product service needs of your business, an easy way of creating and managing a simple Opencart 2 ready enviroment for servicing products.

Service Manager is designed to be simple and easy to use, tracking service to satisfactory closure has never been so fast and easy.
It's a fully featured client side application. Built with angular.js it updates the DOM very quickly without the need to reload the whole page.
Goal of the application is to simplify the process of tracking services. Clean design with good opencart coding practice.

First step, instalation of Service Manager.

Vqmod is required as of version 2.1.0 for customer front-end service status view to function, but it is not mandatory.
Service Manager admin will operate without vqmod but the customers wont be able to view their status

Dashboard is designed to be the starting point of Service Management.

Now, when you logon for the first time you want to make sure you create some service Statuses in the Settings window.
But, dashboard is the home page of the application. It has a search and sort by status feature.

Here you will find a list of services:

To refresh the list of services just click the Dashboard button. Also you have a dropdown on each service item
for printing and editing. If the service has been printed the dropdown print button is disabled. Edit it through service detail view.
Every action is done instantly, without having to reload the page. It just reloads the data, not the DOM.

Creating a new service it very easy and straight-forward.

Fill out the input fields and press Save. The Service is saved along with it's first service history status.
You have an checkbox if you want to show and input only required data (name, email, model, serial and status).
Validation of these fields has been implemented.

Editing service it very easy and straight-forward also.

Only some parameters of the service are subject to change.

You can not change the service History. But by deleting a service you delete the service history as well.

When you change and resave the invoice, history log is made.

Save, print and update invoices

From version 2.0.0 you can manage and print invoices in Service manager for opencart 2.
They are setup in the following way:

Settings have grown a little from the last version. Here you can configure the statuses
of the service and tax rate for the invoice calculations.

Colors are predefined in light tone but nicely viewable in the service list.
Custom color tones can be made. Email us.

As of version 2.1.0 registered customers are now able to view the status of their service through MyAccount.

Future plan is to enable simple notify-chat feature between customer and service-man or manager.
